INFRASTRUCTURE

Put your website next to the people using it

Distance costs milliseconds, and milliseconds cost visitors. Choose from seven locations across four continents, including a BDIX-connected datacentre right here in Dhaka.

OUR LOCATIONS

Seven places to put your website

Pick the one closest to the people you are trying to reach. Not sure? The guidance under each location is a good starting point, and we are happy to advise.

Dhaka

Bangladesh

Traffic between BDIX-connected networks stays inside the country instead of routing abroad and back. For local visitors this is the single biggest speed difference available.

Best for: audiences inside Bangladesh, news sites, local ecommerce

Singapore

Asia Pacific

Our closest international hub to Bangladesh, on very well connected regional backbones. A sensible middle ground when your visitors are split between home and abroad.

Best for: South and South-East Asia, regional SaaS

Mumbai

India

A short network hop across the border, which keeps response times low for Indian visitors without moving far from the region.

Best for: Indian audiences, cross-border ecommerce

London

United Kingdom

Densely peered with the rest of Europe and with routes toward the Middle East, which makes it a strong default for anything aimed at a UK or diaspora audience.

Best for: UK and European visitors, diaspora communities

Frankfurt

Germany

One of the best connected points on the European internet, and the usual choice when a project is expected to meet European data-protection expectations.

Best for: EU audiences, privacy-sensitive projects

Dallas

United States

A central location that balances response times between the east and west coasts rather than favouring one.

Best for: North American audiences

Sydney

Australia

Keeps traffic local for the Oceania region instead of crossing the Pacific twice on every request.

Best for: Australian and New Zealand visitors
WHY IT MATTERS

Server location is a performance decision

It is the one choice you make before launch that you cannot fix later with better code.

Latency is just distance

Every request is a round trip. A visitor in Dhaka loading a server in Dallas waits for data to cross the planet twice before the first byte arrives. Same code, same page, slower site.

BDIX changes the maths

For Bangladeshi visitors, a BDIX-connected server keeps traffic inside the national exchange rather than routing overseas and back. That usually beats anything a caching plugin can do.

Search engines notice

Page speed feeds into how search engines score a site. Moving closer to your audience improves it without you rewriting a single line of code.

Rules about where data lives

Some organisations have to keep records inside a particular country. Tell us before you order and we will confirm whether a location can meet the requirement.

QUESTIONS

Choosing a location

Look at where the majority sit, and host there. For the rest, a CDN is the better answer than a compromise location, because it serves cached copies from edge points worldwide while your origin stays close to your main audience. Tell us the split and we will suggest a setup.

It is the Bangladesh Internet Exchange, where local ISPs connect directly to one another. When your server sits on a BDIX-connected network, traffic between it and a local visitor stays inside the country instead of travelling to an overseas hub and back. The result is noticeably faster page loads for anyone browsing from Bangladesh.

Yes. Open a ticket telling us where you want to move to and we will schedule the migration, usually outside your busiest hours. There is a short changeover while DNS updates, so we plan it with you rather than doing it unannounced.

Indirectly, and mostly through speed. Search engines use page performance as one of many signals, and a server close to your audience improves it measurably. It is not a magic ranking lever, but it is one of the cheaper improvements available to you.

Backups are stored away from the live server, normally within the same geographic region for the best restore speed, though not necessarily inside the same country. If you have a specific data residency requirement, raise it with us before you order and we will arrange something suitable.

Still deciding where to host?

Tell us where your visitors are and what the site does. We will recommend a location, and say so plainly if a cheaper plan would serve you just as well.
