Do you provide server backups?
Yes. We take server-level backups, but they exist for emergency restoration and are not a substitute for your own copies. How often they run varies with the hosting package, the account type, the load on the server and the availability of the backup system.
Keeping your own local or external copy of your website files, databases and email remains your responsibility.
Backup options available to you
- On supported plans, the Backup / Restore tool in cPanel lets you generate and download backups of your files and databases whenever you want.
- Selected packages include automated backups that you can restore yourself from the control panel. See Backup with JetBackup.
- If data is lost, we will do our best to recover it from the most recent backup available. We cannot guarantee that a backup will exist or that recovery will succeed.
- Where an account has been suspended, has expired or has been terminated, recovery cannot be guaranteed. If recovery from the latest available backup is possible, a service fee of ৳1,500 applies for the data recovery or account reactivation.
Please keep your own backup as well

হ্যাঁ, আমরা সার্ভার-লেভেল ব্যাকআপ রাখি। তবে এগুলো জরুরি অবস্থায় রিস্টোর করার জন্য, আপনার নিজস্ব ব্যাকআপের বিকল্প নয়। কতবার ব্যাকআপ নেওয়া হবে তা হোস্টিং প্যাকেজ, অ্যাকাউন্ট টাইপ, সার্ভার লোড ও ব্যাকআপ সিস্টেমের অবস্থার উপর নির্ভর করে।
ওয়েবসাইটের ফাইল, ডাটাবেজ ও ইমেইলের নিজস্ব লোকাল বা এক্সটার্নাল ব্যাকআপ রাখা গ্রাহকের দায়িত্ব।
যেসব ব্যাকআপ অপশন পাবেন
- সাপোর্টেড প্ল্যানে cPanel-এর Backup / Restore অপশন থাকে, যেখান থেকে যখন খুশি ফাইল ও ডাটাবেজের ব্যাকআপ তৈরি ও ডাউনলোড করতে পারবেন।
- নির্দিষ্ট প্যাকেজে অটোমেটেড ব্যাকআপ আছে, যা কন্ট্রোল প্যানেল থেকেই নিজে রিস্টোর করতে পারবেন। দেখুন JetBackup দিয়ে ব্যাকআপ।
- ডাটা হারালে সর্বশেষ পাওয়া ব্যাকআপ থেকে ফেরানোর সর্বোচ্চ চেষ্টা করব। তবে ব্যাকআপ পাওয়া যাবে বা রিকভার সফল হবে — এমন নিশ্চয়তা দেওয়া যায় না।
- অ্যাকাউন্ট সাসপেন্ড, মেয়াদোত্তীর্ণ বা টার্মিনেটেড হলে রিকভারির নিশ্চয়তা দেওয়া যায় না। তবে সর্বশেষ ব্যাকআপ থেকে রিকভার করা সম্ভব হলে, ডাটা রিকভারি বা অ্যাকাউন্ট রিঅ্যাক্টিভেশনের জন্য ১,৫০০ টাকা সার্ভিস ফি প্রযোজ্য হবে।
নিজের কাছেও একটা কপি রাখুন
মাঝে মাঝে cPanel থেকে ব্যাকআপ ডাউনলোড করে নিজের কম্পিউটারে বা ক্লাউড ড্রাইভে রেখে দিন। এতে খরচ নেই, অথচ একটামাত্র সিস্টেমের উপর নির্ভর করতে হয় না।
